Or, how about playing the courses which have hosted the ‘Open Championship’? (sometimes incorrectly called the ‘British Open’)

Open Championship Courses

There are only six golf courses in England that have hosted The Open Championship in its' long history.
These course are Royal St George's (Sandwich), Royal Liverpool (Hoylake), Royal Cinque Ports (Deal), Prince's, Royal Lytham and St Annes (hosts for the 2012 Open in July) and Royal Birkdale.

There are seven golf courses in Scotland that have hosted The Open Championship over the years. Only five of these golf courses now remain on the Open circuit:
St Andrews, Turnberry, Muirfield, Royal Troon and Carnoustie. The two courses that have been susequently dropped are Prestwick and Musselburgh.

We can provide golf tours to any, all or a mix and match of any of the Ryder cup and Open Championship courses. Or if you wish, a mix of those plus local regional course.  The choice is endless.

Regional and PGA Courses

Of course there are hundreds of outstanding courses to choose from in all regions of the UK.  Stay at a country manor golf hotel and golf courses with their excellent ‘historic’ hotel accommodation, facilities and golf courses.  Or maybe stay at Country Inns, local pubs or even castles Try the many coastal courses with breathtaking views, challenging fairways, bunkers and greens.  There are many excellent ‘local’ courses in all regions which provide top class golf, service all if which can provide the level of challenge for all standards of golfers.  Play two different courses in one day!  One thing for sure, the golf clubs will extend a warm welcome and provide a unique golfing experience, not only on their courses, but in their club houses too!

We can provide tours which use courses within any region or geographically adjoining regions.  We cater for the group of golfing friends up to a party of 8 and will always provide an exclusive tour for that group.   We can also arrange ‘self drive’ golf tours.  The organization of the tours with the 24/7 support is still the same.  We can also organize the odd ‘golf day’ for any members of our regular tours who may wish to take a day or two (or even a few hours) out from those tours to play any of the golf courses in the region they are touring.
