I first travelled to the East and Far East in 1978.  Becoming interested in the artisan made silver jewellery I found there, I began to seriously focus  on learning about gem stones and how individual pieces were made.   In 1990 I opened my first shop in Shrewsbury and began to import handmade silver jewellery. I wanted to grow a business that did not embrace mass production. Over the last 24 years I have developed lasting relationships with makers and their families. In 2001 I moved to my shop in Derby.

I am a truly independent business with long standing customers who call at the shop  to appreciate the quality and internet beating value.
