- Au Pair Registration Form: You must complete the Au Pair Registration Form. Applying to be an Au Pair is just like applying for any other job so it is worth spending time completing the Au Pair Registration Form to the best of your ability. Please follow the instructions on the Au Pair Registration Form carefully.
- Personal Statement: We expect you to complete all of the Registration Form in English except for your Personal Statement which should be in French giving your future family as much information as possible about yourself, your family, your interests and childcare experience. Don’t forget to explain why you want to be an Au Pair!
- References: You will need to provide 2 references:
- A childcare reference for example from any babysitting, school or nursery work you have done which must be recent and should state the nature of the work and the age of children looked after and
- A character reference from a teacher or employer to include the referee’s opinion on your suitability for Au Pair work.
- Medical Certificate: You must have an up to date medical certificate confirming that you are in good health and that there is no medical reason why you should not work as an Au Pair.
- Criminal Records Check: You must have an up to date criminal records check confirming that your record is clean.
- Documentation: You will need to supply a copy of your passport, your birth certificate and also if you wish to drive in France, a copy of your driving licence.
